Garden Route Game Lodge is set against the backdrop of the Langeberg mountain range, the lodge guards the entrance to South Africa’s world famous Garden Route Coast. Only 3½ scenic hours drive from Cape Town, this malaria free private game reserve is home to an abundance of animal and bird life including the Big 5. Visitors to the Garden Route Game Lodge can enjoy game viewing in open Landrovers, luxury accommodation and a memorable dining experience in one of our African style restaurants.

Day by day

Day 1: 1st Night Garden Route Game Lodge BIG 5

You are welcome to self-drive to the lodge with your own hired vehicle or we would be more than happy to quote on transfers at additional cost.
NB: We are able to arrange private game drives or private transfers at additional cost, please inquire and we will gladly email you a quote.

Check-in time at the lodge is 14:00pm.
You will enjoy a lovely dinner and evening game drive the first day.
Child Policy:
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children are accommodated in the Luxury Lodge Family Rooms only.
Children under 3 are free.
Children between 3 and 6 years pay quarter price for accommodation packages, meals & game drives.
Children between 6 and 12 years pay half price for accommodation packages, meals & game drives.
A maximum of 2 children and 1 infant can be accommodated per room with a maximum of 2 adults sharing.

Day 2: 2nd Night Garden Route Game Lodge BIG 5

The second day offers activities included as well optional activities and facilities to enjoy.
Breakfast and dinner is enjoyed on the second day with a morning and evening game drive. Your package also includes a guided tour of the Reptile Encounters.
Enjoy the Spa and pool area at leisure, spa facilities and services at extra cost.
There is a lovely restaurant overlooking the reserve where you have the option of enjoying lunch at extra cost.

Day 3: Garden Route Game Lodge BIG 5

Last day you will enjoy a morning game drive and breakfast before checking out at 10:00am.
Child Policy:
All activities forming part of the kids on Safari including extra game drives are included in your stay.
Dad and Mom are welcome to join the kids game drive at 2pm.
Child minders can be arranged during game drive times as well as meal times.
Child minding is done by Lodge staff at an additional cost.

NB: Transfers to the lodge and return are not included in the price but we would be more than happy to quote should you not want to self-drive to the lodge and return. Private transfers or private game drives is optional at extra cost. Please inquire and we will gladly offer a quote.
