Itinerary
Day 1: Joannesburg
We will collect you at the OR Tambo International Airports Bus Terminus (or within 5km) where you will board the Safari vehicle. After a short introduction to the many facilities on board the vehicle such as the music system, flush toilet, heating system and Honesty bar facilities and completion of the indemnity forms we depart for the Kruger National Park. Once we drop off the Highveld Escarpment and into the more temperate almost tropical climate of the Lowveld the scenery becomes spectacular. The excitement of entering one of the premier Game Parks on the planet is palpable and we offer a small prize to the first guest to spot an animal once we enter the park. Once in camp ice all pitch in in setting up the tents, we will have an alfresco dinner around the fire or in our chosen rest camp. Each day we keep a record of the wildlife spotted on the sighting board on the back wall of the Safari truck.

Day 2-3: Etosha National Park
Early wake up call with coffee & rusks ready for you, then a breakfast of special muesli & fresh yogurt on the game vehicle to save time and since not everyone likes to eat so early in the morning. The morning drive, around 140 Km (6 Hours) gets us to camp around 12H00 where we prepare lunch. The route is fantastic since it follows various rivers and passes many waterholes & pans where game congregates to drink. Since we will only be going out at 15H00 for the afternoon drive this gives us plenty time to relax whether in the park shop, at the pool or a siesta in our accommodation. The afternoon drive is from 15H00 until the late afternoon. We again have dinner al fresco style in camp. Weather permitting we will point out a few constellations in the night sky. If you want to do a night drive or bush walk you are in the perfect place.
